Top Tip: Combine the new quick release anchor system with an anchor bungee with float to enhance the experience. The benefits include, easy location after release of anchor and absorption of swell surges, choppy conditions and wind gusts. Can be used with both fixed anchors and drift chutes.
Adjustable Running Anchor Systems
The anchor system allows the user to access the anchor from the seating position and uses a loop that runs between two pulley blocks that are fixed to saddles at either end (bow and stern) of the kayak. The swivel snap clip prevents line twisting plus allows the quick attachment and changeover of any number of anchor options available. The system is made using high quality braided polyester cord in 5 or 6 mm options and sizes to suit kayaks that are longer or shorter than 4.3 meters in length. All components used are quality 316 grade stainless fittings. This design offers a multi-fit option making it universal for most brands of kayak. The anchor systems come with fastenings and saddles for easy attachment to all Viking and Ocean Kayak fishing models with molded in inserts.

Fixed Anchor Attachment System
Ideal for kayaks that have incorporated carry handles at the bow and stern, can easily be adapted to all kayaks with the addition of an attachment point. Excellent for kayak diving and spearfishing where fixed anchors are preferred and pedal type kayaks. Includes main leader that connects kayaks carry handle or attachment point via cord loop and carabiner for attachment to anchor pack or kit. The incorporated sliding pull cord connects to the kayaks cock pit area allowing the leader and anchor to be retrieved from the kayaks seating position.

Anchor Bungee Systems
Designed to absorb and prevent jolting of kayak in conditions where large swells and wind gusts are encountered. Connects between running anchor system and choice of anchor using the stainless steel ring and quick link with inner bungee and outer webbing tube.

Drift Chute
Ideal for drift fishing including techniques where soft baits and plastics are used. Slows down all size kayaks to an ideal speed even in higher wind speeds. Efficient external float allows the drift chute to be positioned so it sits correctly in relation to the kayak just below the waters surface. Float aids in retrieval and also prevents the drift chute from sinking below the kayak which can make it inefficient Built to last - New Zealand made using quality marine grade materials and 316 Stainless fittings.

Fixed Anchors

Mussel Farm/Mooring Hook
